Terms & Conditions
Please find more on our service T&C’s below.
Consultation Fees
We charge £15 for a colour consultation – this is a 30 minute appointment where we will discuss all your colour ideas and offer our expert advice. This will include your Colourstart patch so you do not have to have a blob test. (Colourstart retails at £15)
We charge £10 for all other consultations, but this £10 will come off your service if you decide to book with us.
No Show & Cancellation Policy
We completely understand that life is busy and sometimes you may not be able to make your appointment with us, we ask that you give us as much notice as possible so we can try and fill the appointment and get your appointment rescheduled.
If you are 15 minutes late for your appointment it is unlikely we will be able to carry out the service, please let us know if you are running late and we will try our best to accommodate you.
Please call or email the salon should you need to change your booking. Any no-shows or cancellations within 48 hours of the booking start time are liable to be charged at up to 100% of the booking value.
Plus Ones
You may bring one person with you to your appointments if necessary, but we ask no more than this as we are limited on space at the salon. Unfortunately, no dogs are allowed in the building.
Your Belongings
We do not take any responsibility for damage or staining on your personal belongings.
Skin Testing
We will not perform a colour service without our clients being a Colourstart member or having 6 monthly blob tests.
If you are a blob test client, the blob test needs to be carried out every 6 months at least 48 hours before your colour service – we ask that you are responsible for your own blob test expiry dates – we cannot take any responsibility for this.
* After Colour Services
An express style service is a 15-minute appointment that is required if you do not want a blow-dry or haircut after your colour appointment.
How Colourstart Can Help You
Colourstart is a clean and convenient way to screen for potential allergy to one of the chemicals, called para phenylenediamine (PPD), found in most hair colours. To reduce the risk of experiencing an allergic reaction to hair colour, some manufacturers recommend screening for allergy by using an Allergy Alert Test (AAT) on the skin.
Colourstart can be used instead of the AAT to test for allergy to PPD.

Here is a link to the patient information leaflet if you’d like to read more – Colourstart are also very helpful over the phone if you have any questions.
